About US
Belleville Area Humane Society is an animal welfare organization based in Belleville, Illinois. Our primary focus is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for homeless animals, including cats and dogs, while we match them with loving and responsible adopters. We have a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that our animals receive the best possible care and attention.
Quick Facts
- What is the adoption process? We have an application process that involves a pre-adoption questionnaire, an interview, and a home visit.
- How can I help? You can support us by donating, volunteering, or adopting a pet. We also appreciate any help with fundraising events and spreading awareness about our organization.
- What happens to the animals that are not adopted? We work hard to find permanent homes for all our animals. However, if an animal is not adopted, they will stay with us as long as needed until they find their forever home.
